Known as Palazzo Farrattini, the property is also mentioned in the Vite del Vasari as a contemporary of the Palazzo Farnese in Rome. The layout of the interior spaces is original: the building in plan resembles a fortress, of which in the facade towards the interior there are also two projecting towers. The main façade is enriched on the sides, as well as around the windows and the portal, by large ashlars, almost to emphasize the defensive aspect of the residence; crossing the imposing entrance you are welcomed in a deep hall that leads, on the opposite side, to a large outdoor area occupied by gardens and olive groves for a total of 10,000 square meters. Going up a staircase with a sixteenth-century Roman pesto floor, we find the noble floor that, in addition to hosting the decorated rooms, originally had to be equipped with a loggia overlooking the garden; The large hall is accompanied by a precious marble fireplace and sixteenth-century frescoes in the upper registers of the walls, also present the coats of arms related to the family. The floor consists of six other rooms, one of which, the Hall of the Emperors is decorated with grotesques with presence of services on the floor. A second floor leads to the attic, divided into two rooms.
